Indiana Jones & the Lost Adventures - a Title Sequence
A title sequence for a hypothetical anthology spin off series of Indiana Jones’ adventures for a group project. The aesthetic is a fusion of Indiana Jones and Archer.
The character designs were formed for the purpose of animation. They were designed in Adobe Illustrator for the vector style and the joints were separated into layers for ease of movement. Something I did not take into account when designing Indie's iconic action outfit were the shading and detailing I used in the shirt and shoes - when animating they looked out of place as the shading did not change. We removed these details for the final animation.
Background Plates were used to define the situation that Indie was in. We took inspiration from scenes from the movie i.e. the classroom, the Staff of Ra and the Marion slap scene, but also created situations wherein Indie [may or may not have] found himself in between his major films.
Completed using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects.
